From the Chef to the Server Our Oakland Catering Staff Offers Superior Service
Food & Beverage
When every detail must be perfect, you can count on our superior facilities and expert Oakland catering professionals to serve fresh and delicious food to your guests. The Convention Center Northern California staff works hard to ensure that customized food and beverage services enhance the experience of attendees and exhibitors of each conference, trade show, exhibition, or special event.
Alcoholic Beverages
Guests must show proper picture identification upon request when ordering or consuming alcoholic beverages. Any guest that appears under 30 years of age must show proof of age with valid identification.
Prices
Prices are quoted 90 days in advance of the event; however, due to fluctuating market prices quotations are subject to change. Oakland catering menu prices are guaranteed for a maximum of 60 days.
Service & Labor Charges
All menu prices are subject to a 21 percent service charge and applicable sales tax. In accordance with California Regulation 1603, sales of food products and all service charges are subject to sales tax. A labor charge of $75 will be assessed to all meal functions with a guarantee of less than 30 guests at our convention center Northern California.
Additional Services
Additional service assistance such as coat check, cocktail servers, butler service, facility cleaners, security, etc., may be arranged for prior to event.
Engineering Services
Should functions require special lighting, electrical equipment, telephone lines or any special assistance, such information must be provided to our Events Department 14 days in advance. Depending on the extent of the arrangements and labor or equipment needed, additional charges may be assessed.
Fit for You
The Bay Area Convention Center features a ‘Fit for You’ program, which offers an array menu items for specific dietary needs. Our friendly Oakland catering chef will be happy to meet with guests to discuss menu options.
All prices are subject to a 21 percent service charge and 8.75 percent California state sales tax.
